Debra Iwaniec, mother of Trooper Kenton Iwaniec, recounts the details of her son’s death at the hands of a drunk driver during the Operation Nighthawk DUI presentation to Pennsylvania State Police at the Emergency Management Agency Building in Wilkes-Barre. The presentation by the Iwaniec family was part of weekend long efforts by the State Police helping deter drunken drivers by putting more troopers on local Pennsylvania roads. Over 40 officers attended the presentation, some coming as far as Harrisburg.
